Start off in your ATS (or in Refapp if you prefer)

In your ATS, select the step for reference checking. The information about the recruitment project and candidates is automatically sent to Refapp. At the click of a button in Refapp, send out requests to the candidates to enter the contact details for their references.

The candidate submits the referees

The candidate submits the contact details which are automatically added to the reference checking project in Refapp.

Questionnaires are sent to the referees

As soon as the referees are submitted to Refapp, the competency-based questionnaire that you have selected is automatically sent via email and/or text message.

Referees verify themselves and respond

The referees answer via their computer or smartphone and you get notifications when answers are submitted to Refapp.

What about the scenario in which one referee prefers to be called instead? You can easily book a time that suits you both via Refapp’s calendar-booking feature. Collect your notes into Refapp and the answers are available and safely collected together with the rest of the referees’.

Done! The answers are gathered in a professional reference report

The references are nicely compiled in a report to download or share with a password-protected link. Analyse the answers, read patterns and make a spot on recruitment decision!

Integrate Refapp with your ATS
